My day job is an electronics technician working with commercial induction hobs. When time allows we go boating on our narrow boat. I also have two 1950's Austin cars.
I live in Mollington, Oxfordshire with my wife and two golden retriever girls.
My main passion is singing, I joined Banbury Choral Society in 2008 to try singing bass in a large choir. I was hooked!
I'm also a member of the 9:00am St. John's church choir in Banbury under the directorship of Camilla Shaughnessy.
In 2012, I started singing lessons with Sarah Haigh from Cropredy - she encouraged me to take exams through Trinity College. I passed the Performance Foundation exam with distinction in 2013 and the Intermediate Performance exam with distinction in 2015.
I have also joined the St. Mary's Church choir in Banbury for Christmas, where I met Jean Parker who persuaded me to join Consensio in 2013.
I take the opportunity of singing solo performances as my repertoire expands!
Singing 1st bass in an acappella choir was a new venture and Consensio made it all possible. The high standard that Consensio have achieved is due to the enthusiasm and commitment of its members, which makes Consensio a real joy to be part of.
