Eleanor started singing with the West Buckingham Benefice Choir as a tenor many years ago, and enjoyed it so much that, a few years ago, she joined Consensio also.
In addition to singing, she is often responsible for both choosing and reciting the poetry usually included in concerts and is, herself, a published poet (“The Dwelling” published in January 2016), and the author of several resource books for Sunday Schools.
Her other interests are reading and needlework. And yes, she is long sighted.
Having previously passed through careers as a company secretary and then a primary school teacher, she now earns a thoroughly fascinating living as a Registrar of Births, Deaths and Marriages.
